Links

Stuff I enjoy in three categories. Some of them cross.

Life

xkcd
A web comic. The web comic?
No Agenda
A podcast hosted by Adam Curry and John C. Dvorak. Bringing you real news, in the morning.
Learning Perl (Randal L. Schwartz, Tom Phoenix, brian d foy)
Probably the best way to learn Perl.

Music

Christopher Willits
A guitarist. I don't listen much to his music, actually, but he's done a really good series of episodes on the XLR8R TV podcast about Ableton Live and related subjects See: "What You Talkin' Bout Willits?" part one and onwards.
Ableton videos
The people at Ableton have also made some good promotional and instructional clips on Live and their other products. Worth watching if you happen to be a Live user.
The DIYstompboxes.com forum
If you'd like to build or modify your own effects pedals, this is a good place to look for information.

Technology

Arduino
An easy-to-use, open source prototyping board and IDE (integrated development environment) based around the Atmel AVR series of microcontrollers. If you like buttons, switches and blinking lights, this is for you.
Adafruit Industries
A web store of electronic stuff which also has tutorials, a forum and other information. Not where you'd go to buy your resistors, but they have some nice kits and projects, and the tutorials are a good resource. The founder, Limor Fried, has a site of her own with more articles and resources.
TWiT Live
A network of internet television led by Leo Laporte. Includes technology podcasts such as FLOSS Weekly, Security Now and This Week in Tech.
Tom Igoe
Author of Making Things Talk, a book on microcontrollers and physical computing. His website is quite a resource if you're into such things.
iSSH
An SSH client for the iPhone. What I'm using to add this link, in fact. You can tell that the iPhone's keyboard was not designed with vi in mind, but the fact that you can use it for such applications is pretty cool.
